This is a cutout from a shipment box from "Hodgson's" Portable Houses of E.F. Hodgson Co, sent to Dr. J.C. Wells in Southwest Harbor, ME.The cutout has an associated handwritten piece of paper, which gives the following context: Dr. J. C. Wells built the house on Sand Beach. Later owned by Miss Anderson. Bought by Peter + Ingrid Rudolph + Demolished because of condition.
Details
The box cutout is stained, torn on the edges, and has a large cut by the J in Dr. J. C. The cutout is delicate.
